The manual speaks of composite bows, but I have yet to come across any in the game?? I love my archer, but what self-respecting archer wouldn't have a composite bow? ???
I've played through several times and never seen one. I think they just forgot about it. Not too shocking, that.
You can modify the protos.tab file and other .mes files to put them in but where you get them from after that i'm not sure, I'm having trouble just putting them in!
There is a composite longbow, it just wasn't put into the game anywhere. You can get it by bringing up the console screen (hold shift and press ~) then selecting one of your characters and typing "give 4195". The bow will appear in the selected characters inventory.
Masterwork composite bows, and a few other bits too Check out this thread, you need morpheus' files first and then overwrite the files I've added to get the bows (I think). It works fine for me just not sure if I added ALL the files needed. Arena of heroes
