Why don't we have a thread like this? I am bad at calculating costs of magic items, so I am going to ask those, other people can ask what they like. If this takes off, try to keep arguing to a minimum, just answer + reasons. Actual rules only, no house rules or "I always ignore this because blah blah blah". So, first question: a +2 Composite Longbow (Str 18) that also does Sonic damage, what would it cost? (To buy, not to craft - I need a value for protos.tab).
Composite Longbow 100gps Masterwork 300gps 18 Str (+4 @ 100gps/+1) 400gps +2 Enhancement bonus plus an extra +1 for Sonic Weapon [apparently Miniatures Handbook p41] for total of +3 Base price of +3 enhancement = 18000gps [DMG Table 7-9 p 222] 100 + 300 + 400 + 1 8000 = 18800gps
