Hello, I recently started a game before installing the co8 4.0 patch because i was really interested in seeing the game, and the game started my party in a city with the cannoness getting killed. Now running the 4.0.0, i tried the good, neutral, and evil starting parties and all of them start differently than the original and none of them are the city. is there 4 types of intros or did the original intro get replaced?
There are 9 intros IIrc one for each alignment you can choose in ToEE. As far as I know these are all in the original game none of them are mods.

There are definitely 9 different intros each with its own opening quest. They are from the original game, and not mods. It is pretty nice!
