in all the time i spend here i do not remember encountering so much down time, so i was curious, if something major was going on. no problem either way.

Some strangeness definetly seems to be afoot. And more pop-ups, now....

There should be no pop-ups here... make a screenshot and post it if you see any. Might as well wait a couple of days since I'm in the middle of switching advertising providers, however.

As for the reason for the site availability interruptions; it's been rooted out a few days ago.

Some people have been complaining about pop-ups, I have not seen any pop-ups. I check pops-ups blocked, and I did not see anything from here - all elsewhere.

@Lord_Spike: I would suggest you download and install Windows Defender from microsoft.com, let it update and run a full scan (Use the menu icons at its top to find and and select Full Scan; I have it installed on my computer at work and made it a requirement for everyone's PC at work.) Maybe it will find spyware to kill. It will also provide real-time protection once it is installed, too. Windows Defender is their new version of Microsoft Antispyware Beta [and is its replacement toward their final product from where they bought Giant Antispyware about two years ago].
