Does anyone know how to add/edit custom pictures for items/weapons/armor/etc?

Such as, if i am building a new sword in proto and want it to have a unique model, is there a way to do that using paintbrush or something?

U might wanna look in here:

    Program Files\Atari\Temple of Elemental Evil\data\art\interface\inventory

I don't know if this was added by a Co8 patch or what, but it has extra pictures of ioun stones so presumably this is where extra pix go. Also check the inventory log, ummmm i can't run proto ed from this OS but this seems to be where the data for the pictures are kept, so presumably you add to this: check how the numbers in here line up with the colomns in protos.tab. Just make sure the names of the new pix match the new references in this file.

The ioun stone pix are in tga format, so thats the format new pix will have to be in. My copy of Windows Photo viewer or whatever its called in XP doesn't recognise these, but in 98 it does (go figure) so something like ummmm Photoshop should have no trouble with it.

Anybody who has actually modified pix wanna help out here?
