In about 5 minutes or so I am posting part one of a series on doing dialogue for ToEE on my blog, going from the blatantly obvious stuff you can figure out from opening any .dlg file to the stuff that had me tied up in knots when trying to implement it. Once the series is done I will put the whole thing on here as one doc, otherwise check my blog each day. For the moment, here are templates for a new dlg file and associated .py file. Enjoy! O and the blog is at: http://rpg-rant.blogspot.com/
Ok chapter 4 of the tutorial is up, and these 4 chapters complete the basics. It will keep going periodically, but this is more than enough to get you started writing dialogue and understanding the .dlg files. Chapter 1 is at http://rpg-rant.blogspot.com/2005/08/writing-dialogue-for-toee-part-1.html and you can navigate to each new chapter from there. Alternatingly, you can download an .rtf version of ch's 1-4 right here, though it dumbs down the links a bit since .rtf doesn't seem to deal with embedded links too well.
