Here is a list of the fixes posted on the Atari site:
Temple of Elemental Evil Patch 2.0 Fix Notes Fleeing enemies could sometimes cause a crash, this has been fixed. Infinite loop bug involving complex pending events fixed. One-handed weapons wielded two-handed calculate strength bonus properly (1.5x unless light). Enhancement bonuses of projectiles no longer apply to melee attacks. Criticals often did not confirm if you rolled equal to target's AC, this has been fixed. Bracers no longer stack in their slot. Jaer's Spheres of Fire can no longer be used as melee weapons. Dust of Disappearance value corrected. Masterwork Guisarme type and size corrected, it is no longer a 1-handed axe. Wonnilon's Repeating Crossbow and Masterwork Light Crossbow sizes corrected, both are now useable by small races. Amulet of Mighty Fists adds to attack and damage now. Being unable to remove shields in combat has been fixed. Cat's Grace is no longer a Strength Domain level 2 spell. Syntax errors in Hedrack's dialog have been fixed. Valden now awards masterwork shields for rescuing his wife. More information regarding the woodcutters dialog is revealed. The courier from Lord Wizard Sargen will now talk with party members. Romag's 3rd quest no longer allows acknowledgement of killing Belsornig if you had not in fact killed him. Random number generator significantly improved. Bardic music is now a standard action. Bardic music now provokes attacks of opportunity. Tooltip text, missing during character creation for Abilities and Deity, now displays. Bardic Knowledge help page has correct title. Help entry for Grummsh now properly linked to Strength Domain. Help entry for Chain Lightning grammar corrected. Well, the fix list looks kinda small but thanks anyway Steve! |

sooo.. how does it work with the co8 patch?
Also... is there a plan of submitting the current co8 patch to troika and having them make it into an official patch?

It's hard enough to get them to make their own fixes let alone accept fixes from a fan community. Not a bad idea though. |

Actually, steve has been incorporating a lot of the co8 changes into the official patches, and as I understand will continue to do so.
Also, the new version of the mod pack (3.0.2) is compatible with patch 2.0. All the 3. versions are, but 3.0.2 is the latest and greatest. |

your link isnt working, it is shortened.. it should be
http://www.atarisupport.com/dl.php?f...ANY-PATCH2.EXE EDIT: note that while the forum displays the same shortened version for my link, i tested it and it actually inserts the full link name when you click on it. unlike the original link you posted... (to correct your link dont copy what it says here, instead right click the link, and select copy shortcut, or disconnect from the net, follow the link, hit stop, copy the full line from your browsing bar, and then reconnect and paste it into your article)

I just tried the link (the last one) and it works fine. Perhaps your ISP is having a temporary problem.
Try http://www.patches-scrolls.de/ (under G for Greyhawk) or http://www.avault.com/pcrl/ (under Temple) |

I just tried the link at the top of the page from a different computer and it worked for me, check your browser settings and see if that works.

See my reply in the other thread. Just as a note though, follow the list of patches found in Morpheus thread on Current Mods and Patches.

Re: TOEE Patch 2 Link
I once read a thread where Morpheus said that the Fan Fixes 3.04 and the modified temple.dll by moebius2778 can be used instead of the official atari patch 3. So it would be possible to play the original ToEE with fixes and the CO8_mod (becasue it doesnt work with patch 3)
But the links to the Fan Fixes 3.04 and the modified temple.dll are deleted/dissappeared. Could anyone give me them ? This link from above: http://home.rochester.rr.com/hold4no...xes_V3-0-4.zip doesnt work anymore.

Re: TOEE Patch 2 Link
Also, DO NOT do anything independantly with the moebius2778 temple.dll, if you can even find it anywhere. It's already in that modpack, and indeed all subsequent Co8 modpacks.
It's a persistent misconception that you somehow have to add this file separately (you do not), or that it can be combined with other modpacks in creative ways to make a 'bugfix-only' mod. This is not so, and in fact if you fiddle with that file without understanding what you're doing (or having the other associated support files), you're asking for trouble. For example, if you independantly added moebius2778's temple.dll to Co8 5.7.2, you'd override a great many other .dll fixes that have been done since by Spellslinger and possibly even render your game unplayable.

Re: TOEE Patch 2 Link
Oh good to know. Thx. Then i missunderstood Morpheus. Then i will only install Patch 2 and the Front End X + Co8 Modpack to play the orignal ToEE or the Modpack as i want it.
