trying to decide need help!!

Ok i have downloaded the 5.8 mod and both patches. So how will KOTB fit in? Will it work with the Front end? What level is it for? Can i play through KOTB and then run the same characters through Temple or the other way around or sepeartely?

Help a newb thanx!!

KOTB is a stand-alone module for the TOEE engine. You can download and install both KOTB and the Co8 mod and the Front End will keep them separate. KOTB starts with new, 1st level characters, and in the current demo you will probably reach level 6 with a 5-player party - maybe level 7 if you are an XP hound like me. You cannot import characters from KOTB to TOEE or vice versa.

I would recommend playing either KOTB or the Co8 5.8 mod all the way through before going to the other. While TFE-X will keep track of multiple modules, only one can be active at any given time and the activation process is time-consuming, so switching back and forth is rather a pain.

But by all means, try out KOTB - it's a blast, and ShiningTed has done great things with this demo, I can't wait for the full module to be finished and released!

I tried playing KOTB but Players in the party keep freezing and wont move. So i wait for the final version. Is there a place to post bugs found?
