Re: Protos.tab Fields
Col 6 is a percentage size of the model. So > 100 means you want a model larger than normal size (eg Thrommel), < 100 means smaller (eg Kent, or the tailor). Sometimes models differ drastically, eg kobolds are 40% lizardmen, dragons are c200% ice lizards, that sort of thing.

Re: Protos.tab Fields
I suppose if the value is left blank then it means 100% by default.
More questions: 1. Also, which column corresponds to the characters' level? 2. Column 26 is used just once. Do you think this is merely a mistake? 3. Are the start-of-game PCs also listed in protos? -Mike Last edited by SharkD; July 28th, 2009 at 01:11 AM. |

!00% and size_medium is the default for humans. The % of model effects their appearance in-game. A person at 150% would appear very large and at 50%, very small, like a halfling. Class and level are seperate on their own. There's 5 slots for class/level so you can multi-class. PC's aren't implemented. The authour was going to update it but he moved over to the Witcher scene. I haven't seen a post of his in a long time. He said anyone should feel free to update, correct as they please.

Re: Protos.tab Fields
What levels are monsters though? They tend not to have levels in any any class.

Monster hitdice are set for each type of monster and their CR ratings. It's all in protos.

Re: Protos.tab Fields
I haven't been able to replicate these problems you're having with the Holy Ranseur, SharkD: it seems to have a long reach from what I can see.

Re: Protos.tab Fields
I think column 130 is the creature's reach (i.e. for natural attacks like bite or claw).
Column 35 (creature size) doesn't seem to match RAW for some reason. -Mike [edit] Column 161 is Natural AC. [edit] Column 158 is Reflex Save (including DEX modifier). Column 159 is Fortitude Save (including CON modifier). Column 160 is Will Save (including WIS modeifier). Last edited by SharkD; July 31st, 2009 at 11:39 PM. |

Re: Protos.tab Fields
Is there some good reason to use ProtoEd over WorldBuilder for this stuff? ProtoEd was great for its day, but ...
