just posting this in case anyone wanting to do this and may not have thought of it.
2 people can play 1 party without having to swap mice - you just need a ps2 and usb mouse plugged in at the same time - both will operate as ps2 mice.

You've tried this? There's a notable amount of lag associated with pathfinding (read...the mouse). I can only imagine this worsens with two.

PS/2 is the name of the port [the connector-type]. There is a German standards that defined the acronym D.I.N. (not English).

The 6-pin plug was first used on IBM's PS/2 and was called a PS/2 connector.

history of mice
serial port called "serial mouse" (ancient = oldest)
5-pin DIN called "AT mouse"
6-pin DIN called "PS/2 mouse"
6-pin mini-DIN also called "PS/2 mouse" (modern = newest)

Newer mice can be used in older computers with a 6-pin to 5-pin adapter (PS/2-AT), and older mice can plug into newer computers with a 5-pin to 6-pin adapter (AT-PS/2).
