Game Crashing in Welcome Wench Inn.

The game is crashing in Welcome Wench Inn. When I select the book on the innkeepers desk, it crashes.

Any thoughts on how to get around this, or do I even need to mess with it?

Thanks,

Roneth.

Re: Game Crashing in Welcome Wench Inn.

I found the answer in this thread:

CTD when using party add/delete interface

It is because I have 8 players in my party, they say the books are broke.

Thanks for that info

Actually, Spellslinger has already fixed this one: http://www.co8.org/forum/showthread.php?t=3805

It will probably be included in one of our next patches.

Speaking of add/remove, how do you take a member out of your party for a little while and then bring him back? I'd like to rotate the fourth and fifth pc slots between 3 or 4 characters, but I'm not sure if that's possible.

Well, Jerry, the answer is that you don't. If you remove a PC from the party, they are gone for good. You can re-add the first level version of that PC (I think - the game may not allow this) and then use the console to level them back up to where they were, but that's about it.
