    Yes, this seems to be an old bug, which means I assume it is meant to be fixed.

    I'm playing with the Modpack, and when I first travel to Nulb, I encounter the caravan that has been attacked by gnolls.

    And I can't go any further. I try using the worldmap to move on, it lets me select Nulb and I get the red dots showing me going there, but then everything stops.

    Any advice?

    Have you opened the chest for the blacksmith and gotten the book of heroes?
    If so you could go to the arena and choose not to fight and be teleported back to hommlet

    I don't even know what chest this is. It's the first time I have played the game, and I try to avoid reading clues and hints, so unless I've run into it, I don't know what it is.

    Must be a glitch. Just do this to get away:

    1. Open the console by pressing the tilde (~) button. That's a combination of [shift] and lowercase [`], the character to the left of the number 1 and above the [tab] key on US keyboards.

    2. Type

    Code:
    from t import *
    and press enter.

    3. Type

    Code:
    tp(5001,480,480)
    and press enter.

    4. Close the console by hitting tilde again.

    That will put you back in the center of Hommlet.
