OK I will fully acknowledge firstly that I am stupid. But I have a rogue with Search rank 4, +3 Intelligence bonus. That should be enough to find the hidden stair according to the floor plate. But damned if I can make it appear. Searching through the radial menu doesn't work. The new secret door finder equipment thingy simply says "failed to use" when I try to use it. No other character can seen to do anything. How the heck do you find the hidden stair to get out of here?
No matter, I am, as I said, a complete idiot. It's on the radial menu as its own item through the backpack rather than the skills menu. Funny - the other eyeglasses/merchant scales etc work automatically. And oooooon we go!
If the party ur playing hasn't been scripted for, you won't find the Stairs. Try a Different Party Alignment and they will be found, you don't even need a thief to find them. Otherwise, try waiting a couple of weeks, a new update is due in February, I believe, if Shining Ted doesn't have an Ebola/malaria/bird flu relapse, (I hope not! Speedy recovery Ted!)
