You'll probably want to reduce the visible size to 800x600 aswell, between the 2 you'll git under 100 Kb fairly easy. In IrfanView just hold Ctrl and hit R to bring up the resize window.

I just use paint, use print screen, paste, under image stretch/skew to about 75% and voila.

Well, here's my latest desktop if someone's interested... Not a whole lot there, some new games (C&C 3 being the only current-gen game that I do play, if you don't count FIFA Manager 07 which actually reuses its not-so-new engine over and over again almost every year), a lot of old games (Pinball Fantasies - an old Pinball game from 1994 or so, played via DosBox today; Grim Fandango - an awesome and really funny LucasArts quest; Die By The Sword; and also Visual Pinball and Future Pinball engines - yup, I do love PC Pinball ). The strangely-sounding "Co8TDD CD Database" is just a small database of the ToEE dev stuff that I have on various CDs and DVDs, Co8TDD = Circle of Eight Toolset Development Department (that's how I call my team of devs who helped me along with the ToEEWB and other programs). Not much else, really. Everything else I have is in my Start menu, so unless we make a new "Post your start menu!" thread, you're not gonna see it... (and even if you do see it, you'll figure out that there's not a whole lot of interesting stuff there compared to the desktop).

Speaking of the picture on the desktop - I made it myself, with the help of my friends - the picture of Gadget (from Chip'n'Dale Rescue Rangers) on the right is rendered by yours truly from a 3D model made by a friend of mine, and the wallpaper itself (background and 2d art in the left) was made by another friend of mine from another community. (yup, I'm a Chip'n'Dale Rescue Rangers fan, so sue me for that if you want )

No. It's just an Action Quake handle I used many moons ago. My roomies and I had our computers networked at the townhouse and we would all play on the same team and give ourselves handles that kind-of matched.

So, for that instance it was: Paco Loco, Dr. Strangelove, Crazy Cabeza, and Madcat Willie.

I can't remember where I got the 'Willie' from, but I kept with it.

Who is Maddog Williams?

Maddog Williams is the player character in the 1991 action adventure game Maddog Williams in the Dungeons of Duridian. Its the first 'RPG' type game I ever played. Its sorta text based as in you use type commands like <OPEN DRAWER>,<GET SOCKS> but you move your character around the screen using arrow keys. I loved it at the time but then again I was only 10 at the time.

some times when I'm bored I draw in paint using the straight line tool (A habit I pick up from using computers with no games and limited internet access). This background is a result of playing stalker on a friends PC

Strategy games, ToEE stuff but otherwise just plain old blue screen on the ToEE PC. Can never be bothered with putting pictures on it because otherwise Lulu will start fiddling about with PC stuff which usually results in things blowing up or going to visit the computer doctor...
