Anarchic enchantment-Is this possible to fix?

Using the anarchic crafting enhancement when a cleric crafts causing CTD 100% of the time."

Well, I can tell you it is confimred, it was back in Feb of 05'. With the Front End and Co8 5.0.0 + 5.02 and subsequent cumulative updates, the problem is slightly more annoying even than it used to be.

When you try to craft an Anarchic weapon, the game doesn't CTD-- worse, it hard locks my entire system, and causes the default Windows XP mouse cursor to appear and start blinking--superimposed onto the full screen game world itself. It locks so bad that you can't even CTRL-ALT-DELETE out of it to attempt to end task on the game/process from Windows Task Manager, nor can you use the Windows key or Windows Key + M to try to minimize the game. The only way to recover from this crash is to do an undesireable force reboot of the machine with the hardware reset button on the computer tower itself.

I remember along time ago, when Livonya was still around, that I emailed her about this bug, and she didn't have any idea how to fix it and she also said that there was no way she would have the time to delve into it due to all the other bugs she was working on.

Kudos to the great work the Co8 crew has put into this game, it does seem alot more stable overall than it was back when I was using 3.0.4. If this is not fixable, perhaps you can recommend some type of a work around for it.

Ok, I just spent the last 40 minutes or so testing this issue, and yes, it certainly does CTD when crafting Anarchic weapons. Now the Chaotic weapon enhancement DOES work in ToEE, Fragarach and Scather uses the chaotic weapon ability and dont CTD, so my guess is that the problem lies in the crafting of such weapons.

To fix this issue, it will require a fix in the temple.dll, though this is not something that many of us can do unfortunately.

its only when crafting, you can make a lawful weapon in the protos and it works fine.
