Healing spells bugged?

    I have a level 3 cleric with the healing domain power.

    Cure light wound heals 1d8 + 1/level (max +5), healing domain adds +1 caster level. So if I'm not totally wrong that would mean that my cleric would heal between 5-12 hp per spell.

    But in reality I frequently get results below 5! Even as low as 1 hp which shouldn't even be possible!

    Seriously!?

    This is a known bug. Casting healing spells from the Healing domain spell slots do less healing than they are supposed to. I too have regularly healed only 1 HP when casting a healing spell from my Healing domain spell slots.

    All of the game's bugs that are capable of being fixed have been fixed. Bear in mind that Atari no longer supports this game, and the Circle of Eight modders do not have access to the game's source code, so the Circle of Eight modders are unable to fix bugs that are hard-coded in the game.

    As I never have used a cleric with Healing Domain, this is news to me.

    Thanks Gazra for the info and links. It is indeed a shame that Atari will not release the source code so the Great Modders could clean up the game and REALLY get it working.

    For all that they have done and continue to do, I say THANK YOU!
