Introduction and appreciation

Hi gang. Just wanted to introduce myself. Just recently discoverd your forum and I'm glad I did. Tried to resurrect TOE on my modern pc and wasn't able to until I found your 5.0 patch. Kudos to all who worked on it. Seeing the Keep on the Borderlands project really sets me back about 25 yrs when the module shipped with the D&D Basic set. Wow that brings back memories. Really looking forward to playing it. Had to go with name Warduke from "Quest for the Heartstone" module. That was a classic too. The paladin class was first introduced in that mod with the pregenerated party. Believe his name was Strongheart and Warduke was his arch enemy tho they used to be close friends. Can't wait till Borderlands is done and am regularly checking TOE mods. Playing TOE on pc now really reminds me how spoiled we've become with on-line gameing. In old AD&D leveling was a much longer and therefore much appreciated process. Now in on-line gameing u can level by running across the street and talking to someone. Oh well. Thanks again for everyones hard work and dedication to a system that breathed life in crpgs.
