protos.mes simple question

does protos.mes file contain any information about current players in my party, i dont think it would, but just wishful thinking / hoping. thanks

Actually there is no protos.mes file. The protos.tab file contains all the prototypes for the game. NPC's/Monsters, ammo, weapons, portals (doors), etc etc....

Anything related to your characters are in the Modules\Save folder I believe. There are 4 files. There is also some information on how to hex hack those files on the atari forums.
