and this is the house I've been working on. built in 1914 the concret was added later (and I had to cut off 1800lbs of it so we could get the weatherboards off). thats my boss in the shot with his chainsaw in the side of the pic.

Damn, Cujo! That place is utterly Beautiful! It looks a lot like how I imagine Gondor would look, to me. I guess we can blame Peter Jackson for that. ;)

Its pretty damn gorgeous.

For those who don't know, the entire CONTINENT of Australia has no mountains anywhere near as high as those in NZ (or the Solomons, or New Guinea...)

thats not to far away from where they filmed rohan - so maybe you're right cos gondor isn't to far from rohan either ;)

Off the top of my head, the description was a wall, a dike, and a hall with a thatched roof that seemed from afar to be gold.

NOT a stone fortress ;)

Well yes, yes I do - I thought the set design for Edoras was excellent (though I didn't see the dike, if u take my meaning). Of course it should have been on a hill at the foot of the mountains, not out in the middle of the plain, but you work with what mother nature gives you.
Can I come and hang out for a while?make sure u have your rabies shots - Cujo is not a tame dog.

Yes, I had two jobs, sort of. Burger king isall done now, now that school started , and the daycare is a family owned business which I frequently stop in and fill in at.
