Highlighting releases or games now available as Steam Early Access games: The Age of Decadence - an unforgiving, Choice & Consequence heavy turn-based RPG, for those who haven't heard of it. Now available as early access featuring about 50-60% of the final product, after having undergone a few patch passes already. Baldur's Gate 2: EE - I don't think I have to explain this one apparently it's quite an improvement over BG:EE. Blackguards - a turn-based RPG based on the Dark Eye setting, also available as Early Access. Heard it's pretty good too for turn-based combat lovers, was even favorably compared to Knights of the Chalice on the RPGCodex.
I thought I would post a teaser screen shot of a new area in BG2EE. It's not your grandma's BG2 anymore, if you take a certain Wild Mage into your party you might end up at this location.
Awesome. That end battle sequence (the wards & the demon) at Watcher's Keep is probably the hardest fight ever in a DND setting.
GOG.com now has the entire Wizardry series as well as the classic post nuclear RPG Wasteland available if you want to go old school RPG- now if they add the Bard's Tale series and the Gold Box D&D games I'd be set for the holidays...
If you supported Wasteland2 on Kickstarter you got a copy of the original Wasteland as a thank you. They even added the music from Wasteland2 to it and prettied up the graphics, but what's cool is they made the changes optional via the options screen. You can play it as it was, or the new version! I am currently getting my butt handed to me regularly by the original.
Oh, look! Nuns with machine guns...Aiieee! 7 foot carrots! Why would they need 7 foot carrots?...Aiieee! Hey! Isn't this Las Vegas?....Aiieee!
